DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER

We are in our 11th year of business designing and building high-end pieces for both residential and commercial clients. Our portfolio of projects is diverse—from complete store build-outs to restaurants, architectural fixtures and furniture—with a dedication to high standards in quality and function.  We are searching for the right person to join our team—someone who is motivated, with a passion for excellence, great attention to detail, integrity, an impressive resume and the desire to continue to grow with us.

Be detail oriented, with solid practical math and problem solving skills with a focus on quality control

Possess collaborative attitude and initiative 

Have the ability to manage a dozen projects at the same time

Maintain clear communication skills and ability to direct others through project flow

Capable of reading, understanding and creating plans

Able to estimate and bid jobs

Knowledge of designing, drafting, and building furniture

Knowledge of 3D design applications (Rhino, Sketchup)

Experience designing for CNC machines

Understanding of materials, tolerances and construction

Skills at producing detailed and complete build files

Confidence working with both clients and vendors throughout project scope

Competently and efficiently use and maintain woodworking tools

Knowledge of shop safety and best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Work with team and clients to create custom designs

Create build files that clearly indicates material needs, build and assembly/install process

Create and coordinate orders with vendors and specialty contractors

Manage schedules, tasks and priorities across projects

Specify fasteners and finish 

Maintain quality standards

Create and oversee installation plan, parts and tool lists

Assist in estimating

Perform R&D to expand capabilities, product line and increase efficiencies
